summer movies 2010

I'm reading Entertainment Weekly (yes, we are subscribed to it, temporarily, because of my brother's credit card points, and yes, you can be secretly jealous now), and I'm realizing that there are so many movies to look forward to this summer:

"Salt" (With Angelina Jolie. Did you know her character was originally written for a guy? Just like Ridley in "Alien"!)
"Sex and the City 2" (Kim Cattrall has 25 costume changes, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon each have 24.... any guesses for Ms. SJP? 41, peeps, 41....)
"Shrek 3" (Or is it 4...? There's a Puss in Boots spin-off for 2011!)
"Just Wright" (That's right! I'm wanting me some Common...)
"Iron Man 2" (YaY~! Good ol' action. ScarJo looks like she can kick some arse in this one!)
"The A-Team" (Finally!!)
"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" (I feel kinda like a kid for saying that I'm looking forward to this, but... I am curious to see how this all plays out on screen. A new director is on board... 3rd one, for this 3rd movie....)
"The Karate Kid" (I love these 80's re-do's!! Jaden Smith looks like he's gonna kick some arse! And who doesn't love Jackie Chan doing martial arts??)
"Toy Story 3" (Wow, did you know it's been eleven years since TS 2??)
"Grown Ups" (Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Adam Sandler - I am looking forward to some hee-larities...)
"Dinner for Schmucks" (Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell - need I say anymore?)
"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (I like Jay Baruchel! He was so funny in "Tropic Thunder". I like the dorky type of guy...)
"The Last Airbender" (Okay, not 100% sure I want to see it, but, looks interesting. It's Shyamalan, so....)
"Eat Pray Love" (Just started reading it. I love watching books-to-films. I love knowing the story in my head, and seeing it open up on the big screen. We'll see how this soul-searching experience is shown.)
"The Expendables" (WOAH! Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li... oy, my brain can't handle all this Rated R fighting action!)
"Nanny McPhee 2" (I LOOOVE Nanny McPhee! Emma Thompson is so great!)

See? So much to look forward to! Now, children, let's not all hyperventilate all at once. Our summer calendar is looking quite full....! :)
